It is May 8th, 2013 and I am beginning some new posts on current trading techniques. Often we hear that it is May and Go Away. I often think that this is one of the best times of the year to trade. The volume is lower and the action is slower. Because of this, all you need to do is downshift to a lower time frame. If you are using 5 minute bars, switch to two minute bars. If you are using a 500 tick chart, go down to a 250 ore even a 125 tick chart.
